GERMAN CROSS IN SILVER
Very rare Zimmermann War Order of the German Cross in Silver, heavy type. This DK is of the earliest Zimmermann construction and as such does not exhibit the tell tale flaws of the later light Zimmermann DKs.The Cross is in excellent overall condition with just the lightest of wear on the inner dark star, the silvered wreath and on the reverse tips of the outer star. It really is a beauty to behold! There is no damage at all to the enamelled swastika. The Cross weighs in at approx 67.4g Less than 1200 awarded!
Early U Boat Badge , SUPERB is an understatement
This is a real beauty by the rarest maker , and in my opinion , the best one produced. Early high quality fire gilded tombak U-boat badge retaining almost 100% of its original finish , manufactured by Zimmermann with cut-out swastika in near mint condition. I do not think you could upgrade this one. I have never seen a better one. Common maker ones are dearer than this !!
Army Transport and Supply troops visor cap
Army Transport and Supply troops visor cap , in absolutely superb condition , no mothing or nips. Retains excellent shape and is owner named so a little research may prove worthwhile. Priced to sell quickly , a magnificent addition to any collection. On its way to La Belle France !!
* RARE * GREEK Order of the Phoenix silver class
Order of the Phoenix silver class Breast Star , in superb condition , dating , I believe , to pre 1926. This impressive award from Greece is the size of a DKiG and is in 2 part construction. The highly detailed Phoenix rising from the flames is rivetted on to the starburst with two delicate rivets. The award is fine solid silver and exhibits an attractive patina, it is also highly vaulted. It weighs 42g. Reverse is highly polished and is retained on the uniform by a straight needle pin that has a locking catch. These hardly ever come up for sale , I doubt you will find another on the net !
RAD Officers Hewer by ALCOSO .
These are getting hard to find !!! usual bubbling to plating , undamaged grip plates, nice patina to metal. Crisp motto and maker mark. Some areas of light greying to blade but nothing bad and overall this is a far better Hewer than some on the net costing 50% more ! Straight scabbard again with some bubbling and throat screws missing . An impressive Hewer sensibly priced.
