Very rare Zimmermann War Order of the German Cross in Silver, heavy type. This DK is of the earliest Zimmermann construction and as such does not exhibit the tell tale flaws of the later light Zimmermann DKs.The Cross is in excellent overall condition with just the lightest of wear on the inner dark star, the silvered wreath and on the reverse tips of the outer star. It really is a beauty to behold! There is no damage at all to the enamelled swastika. The Cross weighs in at approx 67.4g Less than 1200 awarded! ON HOLD FOR TG
