Excellent condition KVKII & Russian Front citations awarded to a Otto Wunnenberg of Stab/Pz.Jg.Abt.19
The KVKII doc is dated 12.9.1941 and was awarded "in the field" with Wunnenberg's rank as a Schirr-Unteroffizier. Signed in ink by Generalleutnant Otto von Knobelsdorf (holder of the Knights Cross with Oakleaves and Swords) in his capacity as the Commanding General of the 19th Panzer Division.

The Russian Front doc is dated 22.8.42. Wunnenberg's rank is now Oberschirmeister. Still in Stab/Panzerjägerabteilung 19
Signed in ink by a Hauptmann who was the Kommandeur of Panzerjägerabteilung 19.

Excellent condition unmarked bronze finished tombak KVKII with Swords. Original ribbon. Complete with titled packet of issue in excellent condition. Maker marked Jakob Bengel, Oberstein.
Russian Front medal in crisp condition but with the silver finish absorbed into the zinc body.
Ribbon ring is stamped 10 (Förster & Barth, Pforzheim). Complete with original ribbon.
Postcard sized original photo of Otto Wunnenberg and his wife. Shows him in the rank of Oberschirmeister and wearing a 2 place KVKII and Ostmedaille ribbon bar.
Also supplied is Otto's ribbon bar that he is seen wearing in the photo. In used soiled condition with some rust to the metal reverse but complete. Hinge, pin and clasp in working condition.
Superb Panzerjäger medal and doc grouping with a rare Swords recipient signature (very desirable).
Definitely worthy of further research.
