Undamaged finely cross hatched grip plates and the undamaged diamond has a pleasing wiggle ! Plating to grip and cross guard is very good also .
Early no ricasso type blade with Motto , blade retains good shape with light scratching and lightly sharpened edge , motto is still easily readable and leather washer still in place.
Good matching scabbard with plenty of original finish. Hanging strap just missing the button loop .One for the HJ collector !!
These early ones , especially by a rare maker are getting hard to find these days.
